BWC is seeking a Network Engineer (DMZ, WAN, Internet) to provide the following assistance: •Network analysis •Troubleshooting services •Network architecting services •Services to maximize network potential •Services to improve operations •Documentation on installations and configurations •Consulting services •Installation services •Data/Voice cabling services (Cat5e, Cat6, Fiber) •Implementation services •Configuration services •Customization services •Responses to customer inquires •Responses to trouble tickets The successful consultant should have: •In-Depth Knowledge and Significant Experience with TCP/IP (5+ years) -TCP/IP OSPF and BGP Routing Protocols -Cisco HSRP •Metropolitan Ethernet—3+ years -Vlan Tagging •Strong Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Background •Familiar with Network General Sniffer Software (and Wireshark) and able to interpret traces—5+ years •Knowledge and Experiences with: •Windows 2008/2008 R2 Server network environment •Sun Solaris (UNIX) network environment •IBM Mainframe network environment (TCP/IP) •Cisco IOS, Cisco QOS, Cisco NX-OS—5+ years •ACE/ANM Cisco Load Balancing, Load Balancing Management •Cisco Switches/Routers (2811, 29×0, 36xx, 3845, 65xx, 72xx, ASR1000 series, Nexus 1000V, Nexus 2000, Nexus 5000, Nexus 70xx)—5+ years •Cisco 6500 Sup 32, 6500 Sup 720 3b, and 6500 Sup VS-S720—5+ years •Cisco 6500 Firewall Service Module—5+ years •Cisco 6500 Intrusion Detection Module—5+ years •Cisco VPN (ASA)—5+ years •Cisco WISM, Cisco WLAN—5+ years •Cisco NAC – CAS and CAM both in band and out-of-band—5+ years •Cisco CSACSE (TACAS+)—5+ years •McAfee, SNORT Intrusion Detection •Q1 Labs SIEM •Sidewinder Firewalls •Microsoft Office Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) •Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project •Microsoft Clustering (troubleshooting and analyzing network traffic) •Microsoft RPC protocols (troubleshooting and analysis) •Basic Web Development for network reporting •Network Monitoring Tools (HP OpenView, SNMPc, and Solar Winds) •EASY-IP Address Management •DNS (including Microsoft WINS and Active Directory Interaction) •Cisco GSS •Compuware Application Vantage •HP OpenView and CastlerockSNMPc network monitoring/management •Cabling and physical connectivity (Voice/Data, copper, fiber)—5+ years.
